SH-7 Atoka County ODOT Acquisition and Relocation

Meshek & Associates is one of only four firms approved as a Turnkey Service Provider by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT).

For this project, the team worked to acquire right-of-way for ODOT’s rehabilitation of SH-7 in Atoka County, which included grading, drainage, bridge, and resurfacing work.

The acquisition encompassed 41 parcels and easements for highway, utility, temporary drive, and temporary construction use.

The 24-month acquisition process included several distinct cases regarding personal property moves and fencing issues.

Agents managed several unique split-property negotiations and coordinated negotiation, relocation, and acquisition with out-of-state landowners and local tenants.
